    Question wfw8300s01 error F 28

I just received my new Whirlpool Duet Sport and it looks like a really nice unit ......BUT! When we set it up, loaded it with detergents and the like and pressed start, besides some clicking it did nothing! After about 5 mins Error F 28 shows up on the display. I'll have a repair tech come next week, but I'd really like to know what's going on with this thing. Hours of searching have told me nothing about code F28. Anyone have any insights or suggestions?

F28 is a SERIAL COMMUNICATION ERROR.

Its just likely you have a connector that came loose during shipping, but since its new you just contact Whirlpool, and they will send a tech. out to fix it.

Talking Yay, got my new one

Ok, so the first one I got had the error code, 2 days after I got the lemon, the tech came by, diagnosed an MCU board failure and 3 days later I had a brand spankin' new machine. Which has worked WELL beyond my expectations. Love the new machine. Good job, Whirlpool. Cudo's to ya.
