Default Moving a Washer

We need to move a washer about 70 miles. Have a low camper shell on my pickup. Is it a bad idea to lay a washer on its side for the trip?

Its not the recommended way to move it, but can be done, as long as the tub is secure.

Is it a front-load or top-load model?

Top loader, so what is the best way to secure the tub?

If you can somehow wedge something in between the top panel and tub top like blocks of wood to help keep the tub from leaning to far down and vibrating with the move.
