Question How do I contact Whirlpool?

How do I contact Whirlpool, and what department do I contact about our ED22PW?
I feel the icemaker-water dispenser is made so that it harbors unsafe mold and the door is rusting through from the inside out under the recession of the dispenser.

Default Thank you so much!

I really don't expect any action from Whirlpool, but I like to stick in my two-cents worth if there is a chance that it will help any future customers. The design of the icemaker dispenser has so many nooks and crannies in it, that it takes a paintbrush, toothbrush, cotton swab, cotton cloth, and clorox spray to keep mold growth at a minimum up inside the dispenser area. I don't have central air, and here in the Ozarks we have plenty of humidity which I'm sure contributes to the mold issue. However, a smoother design with more enclosed parts could ease cleaning.
The other issue is that the door of my ED22PW is rusting from the inside out, from under the vinyl coating. That, too, is likely due to the humidity of our area, but that should be addressed by engineers. Many people in the US who have refrigerators still do not have central air to keep the humidity under control.

Thanks for sending the email address.

Yes,

I lived and worked in Corpus Christi, Texas for 6 yrs., and I know all about how easy things rust in humidity. I agree, the appliance manufacturers should increase the metal coating on the doors and cabinet to prevent it from rusting so fast.
