Default Need some help with codes

Hello,
I have a whirlpool oven/range model number GBD 307 PRB and have had the code F1 E2 appear after looking into the causes of this code I replaced the control board for $200.00 and now I am $200.00 poorer and still have the error codes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I advance thanks to any and all who help.

T.

Hi,

Quote:

I found GBD307PRB00 GBD307PRB01
Comes up as a built in oven.

I used GBD307PRB00 and found, a copy:

F1
All E Codes - Electronic control malfunction - Replace control.

Sounds like you did the right thing...maybe something loose like the ribbon on the new control or a bad new part?

Well got home yesterday and checked all connections and all were tight. When the power is turned back on the clock lights up and the minute will advance before the codes reappear. When the clock is lit nothing happens when any of the keys are pressed on the panel. During that time the letters "PF" are lit next to the clock. Thanks again for any and all help.

PF usually is Power Failure....loose main power line/wire?
