    Default Not starting

    Model Number: lec7848d
    Brand: Whirlpool

This dryer recently has been taking 2-3 times longer to dry. Tonight it has completely stopped working, I can hear the timmer clicking.

    Things I have checked..
    - Door switch - open and closed
    - Thermal fuse on the exhaust - 0 ohms
    - It looks like two Thermostat's on the heater, one next to the heating element and one above where it enters the dryer - 0 ohms
    - Push to start button = opening and closing

    My question..
The cycling thermostat, located on the exhaust duct, has for terminals. Here is its picture from repiarclinic

The two red wires show 0 ohms. The red wire shows 6.98K at room temp, the wiring diagram shows, if I am reading it right 5600-8400 ohm. It this suppose to trigger at a certain heat or as long as the reading is between everything its good?

    Thanks
