Whirlpool dryer drum won't spin
Brand:
Whirlpool
Age:
1-5 years
I replaced the motor and the fan, we checked the belt, and we've checked everything else under the back panel. Our drum will also not spin without a push. Plus the motor still creates a humming sound after holding the button.

Thats very strange, why did you buy the motor at?
Can you turn the drum with your hand fairly easy?

Yes, everything seems fine, just that the motor doesn't click when we start it. We tested it without the drum and the belt, and the motor started fine, but with the drum and the belt attached, it creates the humming sound, which I still don't understand because we already replaced the motor.

Ok, then I'm stumped as well, don't know what to suggest, you may need to call Whirlpool out to see whats going on.
