    Default whirlpool washer won't spin

    Model Number: CAM2762TQ0
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 1-5 years

    Hi, I have a Whirlpool washer Model # CAM2762TQ0. Washer will agitate and pump water out but not spin. I have have replaced clutch and gearbox. Coupler is good. Lid switch clicks when I close lid and stops agitating when it is lifted so I'm assuming its good. Oh, and when its supposed to be spinning I do notice the clutch is turning.Any suggestions?

    Ok, check your drive block.

    Here's the tub drive block for your model:
    Manufacturer part number 389140 is RepairClinic item number 2858
    389140

    This video shows how to check and replace the drive block:






    You can see the comparsion here:

    See the one on the left, its the old one, the one on the right is the new one. It has to have those 2 ear slots. Does yours look like the one on the left or right?
