Default no automatic heat ler4624bw2

no automatic/energy saver heat.

dryer works on timed heat..takes two runs.

vent was cleaned and back was examined. element fires up on auto but quickly shust off.

Hi John,

Even though you checked the exhaust vent, it still sounds like you have a vent restriction.

Pull your dryer away from the wall and take off the exhaust hose, then run a load and see if it runs through good, if so, then you have a clog/restriction still where your exhaust hose runs to the outside of your home.
