Default Whirlpool washer fill valve

Model # WTW5300 SQ0. I know I have a bad fill valve because I have to turn off the cold faucet to stop it from flooding. What are the two small electrical plugs on the bottom of the valve? Each one has two wires. I was thinking it was something concerning accu-wash, but the washer does not have accu-wash written on it & the selector switch only has the normal wash-rinse settings. Thanks for any help.

Thats a thermistor on the bottom of the water inlet valve, it controls the temperature of the water.
