Default Whirlpool/Gas, LGR4634JQ2 slow to dry

Dryer has been taking 2-3 loads to dry cloths. I ran it without the vent connected and it dried in 1 load(~120F). I figured it was my venting to the outside that was the problem so I had it cleaned but that did not solve the problem. Unless the cleaning I had wasn't properly done I'm not sure what the issue could be. Any thoughts?

Hi,

If it ran good without the vent, then the vent is still the issue.

How much of a vent run do you have to the outside of your house? Does it go straight out? or does it go to the roof? any elbows in it?

I'm in a 2nd floor condo so its a pretty long vent. Goes into the the wall then a 90(8') straight up and then takes another 90(20') at the ceiling out to the side of the building.

Ok, then you'll likely need to have it professionally cleaned out, check your Yellow pages Under DRYER VENT CLEANING, lots of companies are doing that now.

We have it listed in our local Yellow Pages.
