Question Roper Washer agitator problem

Hello ... I have a Roper washer that is 15+ years old (model number AL6245VW1). During a wash the larger agitator piece at the bottom of the drum appears to be working correctly and spins when appropriate. The part that rests on top of the agitator called Mover-agit (I think) doesn't appear to be working. It limply rides along with the agitator underneath it. When I grab onto the Mover-agit I can spin it freely either direction, which I don't think is supposed to happen.

I can easily remove the parts to this but don't know what ones to replace to fix the problem. The cam-agit (dog-agit) pieces don't look warn too much. I don't know ... any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Your agitator dogs are worn out, you'll need new ones.

Here's the agitator dog kit for your model:
Manufacturer part number 80040 is RepairClinic item number 3109
80040
