Default Whirlpool LSQ9210HQ0 Lid Switch

I have a Whirlpool LSQ9210HQ0 I think I need to install a new Lid Switch.
Washer fills, agitates but will not go into rinse or spin cycles unless I push down on the lid.

Question how do I get the top of the machine open so I can remove and install the new switch?

Thanks
Ed

Hi Ed,

On your model the cabinet comes off with the top.

Here's the lid switch for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 3949247
