The timer on our dryer was not working everthing else (heat, tubling was fine) so we bought a new timer. the old part (# 3397273) was now a different number (3397273b) i got all the wires to match and go where they were supposed to except for one. the new model is missing a horizontal prong for a jumper cable between T and GY. any help would be great.

Hi,
Did the new timer come with a instruction sheet saying to use the original jumper off your old timer? Jake

Is the jumper wire still on the original timer?
If so, just take it off and put it on the new timer. Jake

Oh, the new timer is missing the prong?
The new timer may not need it, it may be internal now. I would call or go down to the place where you bought it from and ask them, they would know for sure. ![]()
