Default Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Filled, but will not spin.

Hi, I have a WP Ulitimate Care II, Model Number: LSQ9010PW2.

I had to move it into a new house, and I plugged everything in, and I started it on cold, it filled, but it stopped, and will not spin. We have had to replace a time clock (?) before, and that was it. So, what do you think is the problem, why it wont spin? I've tried to switch the mode forward to spin or rinse, but it will not work.

It also made this motor noise, like it was trying to spin, but was locked or something, kinda like when you hold a fan, and the motor is trying to turn.

Thanks,
-JoshT

Sounds like your lid switch is bad.

Here is the parts diagram for your model:
LSQ9010LW1
Look at diagram#8 part#11 thats your lid switch.

Here is a link to check it:

Also, forgot to mention, there is water leaking from under the washer. Checked hoses and water hose connections, water is not coming from either. What do you think?

The common water leak issue on these models is the water pump, i would check that.
