Ok, that is what I thought after looking through the parts list. I swearing every appliance in my kitchen is deciding to screw up this week. I've also been having problems with my Whirlpool oven over the past couple weeks...

Yes, seems like appliances break more around the Holiday season then any other time.

I got the new fan motor in place and it seems to have fixed the squealing. I also put a new freezer door gasket on while I had it turned off. The only problem is I can't seem to get it to shut tight now. I put a tie down around it with a little pressure to hopefully form it to the freezer door? Any suggestions how to make this work properly? Thanks!

there is usually a side without a magnet if that's the case for your model, and that side goes on the hinge side

Good job on the fan motor.

Use a hair dryer on the door gasket to soften the gasket to seal properly, becareful to get moving the hair dryer and don't let the hair dryer blow in just one spot or that melt the gasket and put a hole in it.

I didn't notice any magnet in the gasket maybe because it's so old.

I'll have to give the hair dryer a shot tomorrow, I got a bungee putting some pressure on it now and seems to be helping the cause.
