Default Whirlpool ice maker leaking water

    Model Number: ED27DQXDB04
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: More than 10 years

    Hi,

I am so very sorry if this is a duplicate post. I have a Whirlpool side by side (ED27DQXDB04) that is in great shape for its age. I bought it new and just recently noticed that the ice maker is leaking water. It is not making a mess all over. It simply leaks water into the ice bin causing the cubes to clump together. If the arm is lifted the water does not run. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!
