    Default Leaking water on the bottom of the refrigerator

    Model Number: ET18JKXMNR2
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

    Our refrigerator has been leaking water from time to time for quite awhile and I just haven't got around to finding solution to the problem. The water I believe comes from the freezer down the back of the frig under the fresh produce drawers and then leaks out the bottom front of the frig. We do not have a ice maker in the unit so I've ruled that. From what I read I believe it might be the defrost drain in the freezer?

    Hi,

    Often a clogged or restricted defrost drain will leak water inside...
    LINK> frig leaking, Fridges, refrigerators, not cold enough, frost free problems and how to test, noisy fan motors, clicking on and off compressors, door gaskets

    ...wil have to be flushed and cleaned out.
