So a couple weeks later, the ice maker stops making ice. Do you think I may have a power problem that's burning them out or possibly the new unit was bad ? Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can do before I buy another or attempt to exchange it?
Thanks,
Matt

Is there any water or ice cubes in the ice maker?

Yes, there is ice in the tray and the ejector fingers are in the 2oclock position.

Try force cycling the ice maker. Did you buy it through this site?
To force cycle the ice-maker, remove the cover over the module and locate holes “T” and “H”. Take a small piece of wire bent in the shape of a U and short “T” and “H” together. The ice-maker will start the harvest cycle. Wait about 10 seconds and remove wire. The Ice maker will continue through the cycle. At the end of the harvest cycle the ice-maker supplies the coil on the water valve with 110 VAC.

I forced cycled the ice maker as you suggested and the front dial spun about 270 degrees ejecting the ice. The arm that tells the ice maker to stop producing ice went all the way up, and back down about 1/2 way, not all the way back down. Water also filled the tray. I purchased the unit from repair clinic as you suggested.
Thanks,

Just exchange it for a new one from RepairClinic. It has a year warranty/return policy.
