My next problem is that the ice maker doesn't work. I'll wait till I do this repair before I look at that.

I repaired my refrigerator!!
I repaired my refrigerator!! I replaced the condenser fan motor and lived to tell about it!
I don't know what I did, but my ice maker which has not worked in two years is making ice.
I had no idea that I was that good.

I was successful replacing the fan motor. I'm able to remove the ice maker and back wall of freezer to de-ice as needed. BUT can I stop this cycle of the ice melting that causes water to pour into the fridge part. The ice eventually blocks the openings between the fridge and freezer. That's when I start losing food. Never have a problem with the freezer working, but obviously the air flow gets blocked and the fridge section doesn't get cold enough. Of course, it's best to de-ice before I get to that point. This is a continuous problem and I really don't want to buy a new one right now.

Clean the drain line out with very hot water and that should fix it.
