    Default new gold no ice

    Model Number: gss30c7eyy-ss
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: Less than 1 year

I bought a new whirlpool gold gss30ceyy-ss side by side from brandsmart 6 days ago. It made ice for mabey a day and a half then nothing.Ice machine in door I have checked the on/off switch (lever blocks beam I assume)
have pushed a gal of water through water through water dispenser so there is a good water supply. there appears to be nothing blocking the mechanism. any ideas before the repair guy has to come out?

Six days and already a service call?? Not a good sign! Open the freezer door and check the status LED. 2 Blinks followed by a 1 second delay-repeated: Tape the emitter door back so it doesn’t block the beam between the emitter and receiver. LED is on steady: Optics good. 2 Blinks followed by a 1 second delay: Bad optics
