I installed the new water inlet valve this afternoon and everything is working. The new valve had push on connectors which work really nicely. Thank you again for all of your help.

On a related note, During the removal of the inlet valve I must have disturbed the connections at the water filter as I found a small leak was dripping into the drain pan. I removed the water filter housing and cut 1/4" of the end of the lines but couldn't stop the leak. I found that the O rings were deteriorating (probably 8+ years old) and after doing a search here, it appears that there is no replacement kit and you have to replace the housing itself. So, I just purchased a new housing and filter element from a local supplier during lunchtime. Pretty sure that should take care of it but any further advice is always appreciated.

Yes, I've had to replace my share of those water filter housings as well for the same leak issue.
Here's the filter housing for your model, in case others with your model need to order it:

Thanks Jake, I have it installed with a new filter, no leaks. I noticed right away how much tighter the O-ring connections were with the new housing.

Whats the model# of your refrigerator?
Help Me Find My Model Number - RepairClinic.com
Your water tank is in the bottom of your refrigerator section may have frozen causing this, its behind your crisper's. Get a hair dryer and warm it up.
When you push the water dispenser lever do you hear any sound at all coming from the water inlet valve in the back of your refrigerator?
