[FIXED] Whirlpool GBD307 F2 E6 Error
I have read several threads about this error message and think I know what I need to do. Can you tell me how to remove the control panel to check the connection(s)?

Thanks,
To access inside your control panel open your oven door then take off the side trim#2 here on each side:

I believe it just has one screw on each side holding in the trim, then once the trim is off you will see 2 screws on each side of the bottom of your control panel.
Make sure you turn the breaker off to your oven first.

Jake,
I removed the side trim #2 pieces from both sides. There are 4 screws in a horizontal position under the control panel. When I remove them a small piece of trim is loose but the body of the control panel is still pretty tightly secured. I can not find any other screws and I'm concerned that too much pressure will break the assembly. What am I missing?

Jake,
I wised up and realized I needed to slide the built in our of the cabinet to access the screws you were talking about. I tilted the control panel forward and checked all of the wire connections to make sure they are seated and they appear to be. I read on another site to use a clean pink eraser and isopropyl alcohol to clean the contacts for the flexible keypad connector cable. I did that and there was "dirt" on the contacts. I put everything back and turned on the breaker. I still do not get any display. All of the buttons work as I can turn on the oven light, and even the ovens, but no display. Which part do I need to order..?
Thanks,
Dan
