Got it.
Once you have your range pulled out from the wall and unplugged, remove the back access panel#31 then you will see the locking motor#6, remove the bar#5 then remove the locking motor by unscrewing the screws#40, then your oven door should open.

Hi again,
I replaced the display/control board and nothing changed. When I plugged the oven back in, the display remained blank.
I couldn't find anything wrong with the original board, but capacitor C1 (the largest one) is bulging at the top on the new board.
Do you know where I might find a wiring diagram for this model (GW395LEPS00)?
Thanks so much,
Vel

Thats very odd, that new clock control board should have fixed it.
Did you buy it from the link I posted?
Here's the wiring diagram for your model:

Sure did. AppliancePartsPros.com
Does the blown cap. mean anything to you?

Yes, the blown cap. would indicate the clock control board is causing it.
But I still don't understand why the new clock control board you ordered and installed didn't fix it.
Did you do a voltage check on L1 & N on the clock control board to see if your have 120 volts at that board?

So the control board burned itself out?
Do you think I can return it to AppliancePros as defective?
Yep, I found 120 at L1 on that board.
I'm going to look the whole oven over with the wiring diagram as well as I can tonight.

Alright, I've got continuity from P4-3 up to the TOD thermal device, which I found to be open.
Seems like it should be normally closed like the switch before it.
Since it's represented by a fuse symbol, I assume it's stuck open and needs to be replaced.
Does that sound right to you?
I already found the part at APPros (#AP3086326).
Thanks!

Well thats interesting, yes that sounds like the problem, that should be closed.
The reason I didn't point you to that first is because usually if thats bad, it would cause the oven not to heat, but the clock control board would still display.

I re-checked the wiring diagram, and it looks like on this model that thermal fuse goes through the clock control board circuit, and not just the oven circuit only. Sorry about that.
This is the first model I've seen where it does that.
Yes, you can return the clock control board for full refund(minus shipping back). The invoice will explain how.

I have an idea, just jump that thermal fuse(take the wire off the thermal fuse and hook the wires together, don't let them touch anything metal) then plug your range back in and see if everything starts working again.
