Whirlpool Built-in Oven Error E3 F2
I have a Whirlpool built-in oven model RBS305PD and have an error code displayed. The code is E3 F2. My wife was baking cookies when this occured.
Does anyone know what this code is? Temperature sensor? If it is, can I replace this my self? Thanks
Chuck

I don't see that code, or you sure its not F3 - E2?

Same Problem
We have a whirlpool freestanding range/oven with the same fault codes listed above. These appear on the front panel as “E3 -F2-“. These are not listed on any fault list. Does anyone have any idea what these might be?
We had one leg of our electrical power short out on the street. In addition to loosing the range we lost computers, televisions, fluorescent ballasts, and a timer.

We found the answer to our question over at www.servicematters.com. The techsheet for our unit says we have a "Shorted key error". The ERC is $200 with a $35 core charge. According to our appliance parts store, this is a special order from Hawaii. It looks like we might be talking to Hawaiian Electric about a new stove.
