Found the Error code sheet. Attached is the scan of the code page for my model. I've tested the temp sensor... it's OK. Tested the continuity between the sensor plug and the electronic control board... good connection. I unpluged, checked and re-pluged all connectors, plugs and wiring harnesses to ensure good connections and no corrosion. I also pressed and held the cancel button for 5 seconds to have the display show the stored error codes to verify the F3-E2 code. The fault/error code is stored in it's memory. According to the error code what else could be the problem?? Do I bite the bullet and order a new electronic control board? Can the existing board be tested?
Thanks again!!! for all of your help. Hope I got the attachment right.

That's the board. For $145 bucks that thing should cook me dinner too! I'll put the order in, I'm sure that will fix the problem. Thanks again for all the help. This is great forum, lots of good information.
