    Default WHIRLPOOL Quiet Partner III

I have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III. It stopped working shortly after I got it. The start light flashes on cycles of 7 times. I tried re-setting it but when I tried starting a cycle the same problem happened. I am assuming its either a sensor or a thermal fuse. Does anyone have any other ideas? Also where is the sensor or thermal fuse located? I tried to find an image of where they are located but no luck.

Hi Jake, I checked the manual you posted and no luck for me either. My problem with mine seems somewhat different.

I get no lights or response from the panel at all. and have roughly 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of it. It was working this morning, ran a load through, and opened up today to find the dishes clean but still damp. I've checked the breaker outside and made sure the machine is getting power but no lights at all on the front panel.

Cant cancel a running job to drain, or start a new one or get any response from it. I haven't taken anything apart yet, just red the manual that you posted. Like its getting no power.

I have a "GU1200XTLQ1" model whirlpool quiet partner III.

When its dead like that its usually your thermal fuse has blown.

Ohm the thermal fuse for continuity AS shown here, I know it says dryer thermal fuse, but its the same test as dishwasher thermal fuses.

Here's the thermal fuse for your model you can order here if needed:
Manufacturer part number 8193762 is RepairClinic item number 959376

Here's the video to access/change it:

Well... wasn't the old fuse, I got one today, replaced it and still dead. I've double checked the power outlet as well. And the fusebox in the as well. All are good.

So I plug it in, to a two different outlets (with extension cord, that I know is hot), no lights, no camera, no action.

I'm starting to think my dishwasher is D.O.A.

Anything else come to mind to check at this point?

Thanks again for your help the Youtube videos REALLY helped a lot!

quick update, after getting the dishwasher back into the slot in the kitchen I found a "burned through" wire connector, one side is burned right through. I think I may have to get a new dishwasher if nothing else for peace of mind. The "twist wires together" style connector. no fuse in between.
