Default Quiet Partner 980/water in tub

The machine runs fine. Cleans well and drains completely. Water slowly seeps into the tub. Seems to be clean water. A few times it was discolored but I beleve this was from cups and dishes alredy put into the washer.

Hi Tim,

Sounds like your water inlet valve is bad, thus not closing all the way.

Here's the water inlet valve for your model you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: 8283346

As far as changing the inlet valve, its pretty easy, just turn off the water, undo the water line, brass elbow, electrical connector, and the small rubber hose on the back of the inlet valve. then use a threading compound on the elbow threads and reconnect everything.
