Default Whirlpool GRR448LXPB0

After power is applied the display cycles through numbers 84, 85,& 86 in red and displays a lower case r followed by the number 4 in blue. None of the keypads have any affect other thant the r 4 going out when the button/keypad is held. This happened after a thunderstorm which also took out my router and cable modem. I have a bad feeling that it's the main control board. I couldn't find any error codes that match. Your help is always appreciated.

Thanks

I just got done reading the tech sheet on that model and your feeling was right. It looks like you'll need a new control, Part# 9757271. Sounds like that was an expensive bolt of lightning.

Then the only other part it could be is the control panel membrane assembly.

Here's the cheapest one I found for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 9758473
