Mav1972 is on a distinguished road
Default Super Capacity 465 model SF315PEGW5 oven not functioning

It all started after I purchased a house and found that the oven does not work. The stove top is perfect and all igniter's work along with a flow of gas. The control panel appears to be fine, and when I selected the bake option, the preheat/Start display flashes. But no heat. I do get a PF error after unplugging the unit, but this appears to be normal indicating a "Power Failure". So looking into the broiler part, I couldn't see that the igniter was glowing. Ok, so I bought a new igniter without first testing the volts. The new igniter came the other day, put it in, and still nothing. Thanks to the internet, I found this site, and started to troubleshoot with only a volts meter. Testing the power, I'm only getting a few volts out of the wires to the igniter. So the igniter is good, but no power. I cannot see any type of fuse to replace and all the wires look good. I have looked at some link you supplied for troubleshooting, but I'm not sure on how to test the OHM's thing. I guess if I understood, I could determine if it is the gas valve " as indicated in other forums" before I go out and drop over a hundred dollars.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.>>

Hi,

You'll need a new electronic clock/oven control board.

Here's the cheapest one I found for your model:
Manufacturer part#6610152 is RepairClinic item#675669

Thanks Jake, that did the trick.. The "start" button was bad on the old control board.

Again, thanks for all your help.
