I have a Whirlpool double oven with an E6 F2 error code that randomly appears throughout the day, followed by a total display shutdown. Even when the display is off, the keys make the triple chime error tone when pressed. I know that this error code means that either the keypad or the control are bad. How do I know which it is, or if it's both? My model number is RBD305PDB15. I have cleared the display, and checked all connections already, and found no problems.

Hi,

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection.
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 sec., replace keypad.
3. Replace control.

Usually its just the keypad assembly thats bad.
