Default new whirlpool fridge leaking

We have a new Whirlpool fridge that sat running for about 3 months with nothing in it. Once the food was packed in it, it is leaking a lot. The fridge, I think, is tilted back for the water to drain. The temperature in the fridge is normal.
What's going on?

Thanks.

I have found some brand new whirlpool refrigerators with cracked drain pans.
When your refrigerator goes into defrost the water from the defrost cycle drains into a pan that sits under the refrigerator.

The water then sits in this pan until it evaporates. Unless the pan has a crack in it. Then in that case you get water all over the floor everytime the refrigerator goes into a defrost cycle.

If it's under a year old it should be under warranty.

Hi chrisusvi,

Whats the model# of your refrigerator? The model# tag is located inside the refrigerator section on the upper walls or ceiling.
