Default [FIXED] Wiring replacement motor

I have a DUL240XTPQ6 - the motor started to leak and when I disassembled it, I say the bearings were all rusted.

So I ordered a replacement Dishwasher Motor & Impeller - 8535760.

However, I forgot to notice the placement of the blue and yellow wires that are attached to the motor. Which one is placed where?

Also, any other tips on installation? It looks pretty straightforward, but want to make sure I do it right.

It will show you how to remove the pump and sump assembly, then the motor assembly.

It would have been better to get the complete motor assembly which Includes volute, shaft seal, and impeller.
Manufacturer's Number: 8534942

8534942

Sometimes volute is hard to remove from the old motor.

I managed to complete dissemble the old motor, so no problems there. I'll take a look at the instructions you referred to. I think it seems pretty straightforward, I just didn't want to get the blue and yellow wires mixed up and then bust my new motor.

Oh, you mean the blue and yellow that connect to the motor capacitor on the back left side of the motor as your facing it from the front?

It doesn't matter where they go, just as long as there on it.

It was pretty easy. I didn't even need to worry about that wiring as it was already connected in the motor I received.

Pretty simple to put the new motor in - attach it with the screws and bolts, put in the bottom (and use those plastic wedge things to give it a seal), and away we go.

Dishwasher acts like new again.

Thank you so much!
