Default replace solenoid valve on 16 year old side by side
Is it worth it to replace the water dispenser/ice supply solenoid valve on a 16 year old fridge? The water dispenser stopped working about 2 years ago, I diagnosed it as a bad solenoid valve but didn't think it was worth the $80 to fix it. I could go without the water dispenser. Now the ice maker stopped working. Gotta fix it now. Is this a good gamble to fix this? Can you give me the part number for the solenoid valve assy for model Whirlpool ED25PWXAW01?
