Question [FIXED] Whirlpool GC3SHEXNQ00

Whirlpool side by side was not cooling. The Divider was very hot to the touch (to hot to hold hand too). I replaced the inverter box and "PRESTO" the freezer and fridge started cooling. I learned all of this from this forum. You guys are great

Now the divider is still very hot to touch (checked and the compressor fan is running). I never really noticed before but, should the the divider be so hot that you can't hold your hand to it

And yes, I've cleaned the coils while I was back there. Any suggestions.

The fan has stopped running should it remain running to cool the compressor? I've placed a small fan in the back to cool the the compressor.
My question is why would the fan stop running

Take the front kickplate grille off and clean the condenser coils underneath as well.

The condenser fan should be running the whole time the compressor is running.

You will need a volt meter to measure voltage at the condenser fan motor when the compressor is running. If no voltage then its the control board thats going out as well.

Control board assembly, You can order, it sends power to the condenser fan motor:
Manufacturer part number 2307028 is RepairClinic item number 1058823

Its #19 here:

If voltage is present at your condenser motor and its not turning you will need a new condenser motor, here's the one for your model you can order:
Manufacturer part#W10124096 is RepairClinic item#1378525
