Whirlpool Double oven shows error code E6 F2
My Whirlpool double oven model # RBD275PDS15 would not turn on and display was blank. The keys would beep and oven light would work, but display was blank. After several days the error code E6 F2 appeared on display. The oven will turn on and the clock will display when the clock button is pressed. Start ? will appear under the time.
What is wrong with the oven controls? Will the display quit working again? What test can I run myself to check things out? Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
F2 E6 says this: 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection. 2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 sec., replace keypad. 3. Replace control. Here's the keypad control panel assembly for your model: Manufacturer part number 8300429 is RepairClinic item number 831536  8300429Here's the control board for your model: Manufacturer part#8302319 is RepairClinic item#1027942  To access inside your control panel open your oven door then take off the side trim#2 here on each side: http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_pn...5120-00001.png I believe it just has one screw on each side holding in the trim, then once the trim is off you will see 2 screws on each side of the bottom of your control panel. You may need to pull your oven out from the wall a little if you don't have enough clearance at the top of your control panel to remove it. Make sure you turn the breaker off to your oven first.
