Default Loud Motor Hum, No circulation GU1200

A few days ago, my Whirlpool GU1200 Stopped circulating water to the rotors. It fills normally, but no water circulates after fill. Also, after filling, the motor hums loudly as though unable to start. When I press the cancel-drain button, however, the unit drains water from the sump normally. I thought it might be a faulty morot capaciter, but it then should also not be able to drain. Any thoughts? Thanks
