Year-old Whirlpool Quiet Partner III decided to quit.
We have this dishwasher for a little over a year (of course) and have had no problems. We started it last night and went to bed; when we emptied it tonight we had clean dishes, a pool of water in the bottom of the tub and a completely unresponsive control panel. I reset the circuit breaker it's on (about 60 seconds) and still got no response. Whirlpool support was no help, other than to schedule a service visit next week. Any suggestions as to something else I could try in the meantime?

Pucara: None. The Whirlpool CSR had me hold down the Heated Dry button -- that locks and unlocks the panel, right? -- but it did nothing.

are you still under warranty? if so i'd call whirlpool. First thing i would do is check for 120vac at the junction box,, you have to take off the kick plate and the box will be to your right side,, careful with electricity

Nah, it waited until about two weeks after a year to do this to us.
I can get the kick plate off with no problem. Could I trouble you to translate the rest of what you said?

The power junction box is behind the bottom kickplate, thats where the main power from your house power supply hooks-up to your dishwasher, lots of times pucara and I will find loose or burned wire nuts thus no power to anything.
Turn your breaker off to your dishwasher first before checking that.
Also please double check your model#, that one doesn't show as good.
