Sears Kenmore/Whirlpool Dryer Motor

Posted by: Jake | Comments (0)

We seem to be having lots of members coming to our dryer forum and are having their dryer motor starting to fail, after about 8 years dryer motors can simply just wear out under normal use. The sign of a dryer motor going out is when you start the dryer it makes a grinding sound and runs a little while then just stops completely.

Here’s the most common dryer motor for the Sears Kenmore/Whirlpool models with the lint filter on top of the dryer:

Maytag Refrigerator Condenser Motor

Posted by: Jake | Comments (0)

Maytag Refrigerator(model#MTB1955GRW) Not cooling properly, and the middle metal divider between the freezer and refrigerator doors was very hot to the touch. Whenever this happens its usually either something stuck in the condenser fan motor blade or a bad condenser fan motor.

The condenser fan motor is located in the back of the refrigerator near the compressor. So you need to pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then take off the lower back access panel. Remember always unplug the refrigerator before servicing it.

Here’s the condenser fan motor for this model:
