Sears Kenmore Defrost Thermostat
Posted by: | CommentsSears Kenmore Refrigerator(Model#596.75529400): Not cooling properly. I found the evaporator, that’s located inside the freezer behind the back panel, all frosted up heavily. Before you defrost it always ohm the defrost thermostat for continuity. I did a ohm test on it for continuity with an ohm meter, found no continuity at all. Installed new defrost thermostat, worked great!

Sears Kenmore Start Device Relay
Posted by: | CommentsSears Kenmore side by side refrigerator(model#106.50542001): Not cooling, pulled the refrigerator out from the wall, then removed the lower back access panel, unplugged the refrigerator first, then removed the start device relay from the side of the compressor and shook it, it rattled alot. Whenever it rattles like that, its always broken inside.

Sears Kenmore Washer Drain Pump
Posted by: | CommentsSears Kenmore front-load washer(model#110.47532601): Making grinding sounds when the drain pump is running, found the drain pump impeller bearing bad, installed a new drain pump worked great!
Here’s the drain pump for this model, The drain pump changes from part#8540024 to part#W10130913:

Sears Kenmore Dryer Thermal Fuse
Posted by: | CommentsSears Kenmore Dryer(model#110.66832500): Dryer wasn’t turning on at all when you pressed the push-to-start switch. I used my ohm meter to check for continuity on the thermal fuse terminals, with the dryer unplugged, found no continuity. Installed new thermal fuse, worked great!
