Hello, I have a kenmore refrigerator model 106.54382300
Serial SP4145802
Problem, everytime the ice maker fills too much water goes into the ice mold over filling and it dribbles down the front of the freezer racks all the way to the bottom creating a iced up mess.
IF memory serves me correct there is a white screw just under the cover on one side of the head to adjust the water fill into the mold. Will I have to remove the entire ice maker to make the adjustment. Which way do you turn the screw for less water.

The water adjustment screw only has a maximum 1/2 (half) turn in each direction. Any more than that throws it all out of whack.:)

Turning the set screw clockwise decreases the water fill. 1/2 turn = approx 20cc of water.

If it still overfills after decreasing the water fill, then the ice maker needs to be replaced. Over time the module circuit strip wears and tells the ice maker to overfill itself.

Here's the 5 cube ice maker for your model you can order:

There is a HOW TO video in this ice maker link below. Its the exact same way to change it, the only difference is yours is the 5 cube ice maker.:)

Let us know what happens.

In summary--->Once you remove the front plastic ice maker cover you should see it, that plastic cover just unsnaps off.
