The ice maker has stopped making ice. When the ice maker lever is pushed in the motor turns on to deliver the ice but their is no ice in the bin.
LED lights with door open and flapper open: blinks twice followed by 1 sec delay - repeat
Holding flapper closed: the LED light blinks twice followed by 1 sec delay - repeat
Holding flapper closed and freezer light off - no led
Water dispenser in door works fine
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Holding flapper closed and freezer light off - no led
Are you holding the door switch IN while your holding the flapper closed? If so, don't, just hold the flapper closed and see if the LED is ON steady. Let us know what you find.

Step#1: Open the freezer and view the status LED

(STATUS LED)

2 BLINKS FOLLOWED BY 1 SEC. DELAY(REPEATED)

POSSIBLE CAUSES: The flapper door on the emitter is blocking the beam or the optics are faulty.

Step#2: Press the emitter flapper to unblock the optics beam

(STATUS LED)

2 BLINKS FOLLOWED BY 1 SEC. DELAY(REPEATED)

POSSIBLE CAUSES: The optics are faulty. Replace the emitter and receiver boards.

If the LED is ON steady: The optics are working properly.

Here are the boards you can order IF needed, they come together in 1 kit with instructions and video:

Thank you for your response.
With the freezer door open, the freezer light on, and the flapper door open the LED light emits 2 blinks followed by a 1 second delay and then repeats.

With the freezer door open, the door switch held in, and the flapper door open the LED light stays off.

At no time does the LED light come on steady.

Yup, Rick is right, your optics are bad.

Also tell me what position is the ejector arm fingers are pointing.

Normal would be pointing at you or slightly above you.

Here's the ice maker for your model, see how the ejector arm fingers should be pointing right at you?

This is strange. My ice maker has started to work again. Now, with the freezer door open, the freezer light on, and the flapper door closed the LED light stays on steady. I assume that the optics are eventually going to go out completely and will have to be replaced. At least now I know what to expect and how to remedy the situation. Thank you all for your time and attention to this problem. I greatly appreciate it.
