model number is (I Think) 106.7679610

it has the frozen over coils and warm fridge issue and I am trying to find parts and where the defrost time is .
manual would not hurt either.

On that model I believe the defrost timer is built into, and is an integral part of the icemaker. Unfortunately the icemaker has been discontinued for years.

If the defrost timer portion of that system is needed, the whole icemaker can be replaced with this aftermarket defrost timer kit. Of course, you'll no longer have an icemaker.

(Those also have since been discontinued but there are some old new stock still available at the link above.

manual would not hurt either.

I have no idea where you'd find that.

Thanks for your reply
I pulled the Ice maker and found the adjustment knob and turned it until the freezer turned off and sure enough lots of popping and hissing and Ice melting Yea!!
so I ordered a new old timer but now I think the fan for the fridge part is not running at least I cannot feel any cold air coming from freezer. Was going to get this and replace it as the freezer is down to 24 degrees and nothing has kicked on and fridge is still at 55 How hard is it to replace this?

Replacing an evaporator fan motor is not usually very difficult.

BTW. That fan only runs when the compressor is running.

the freezer is down to 24 degrees

Down to?? What was it at?

A freezer should be -2 to +5 deg. F.

I think after the manual defrost everything is working now
Fridge is hovering around 33
Freezer is at 0
I ordered the timer you suggested
Thank you very much for your help

That's good news.

If the defrost timer mechanism is the cause, excessive frosting will usually occur 3-7 days after defrosting. Keep an eye out to see if it recurs. That should eliminate the possibility of just a door being left ajar as the cause previously.
