Hi,

I couldn't locate your tech. data sheet, I will ask our other tech bigbuck if he has it.

So when you start a new cycle what happens? Does the lid lock? Does water come in? Do any lights on the control panel blink?

Or just sensing lights up and that's all?

Ok, once our tech. bigbuck posts the tech. data sheet for your model, you will need to go into diagnostics and see what error code/codes you get.

Thanks bigbuck!

Page 2 of your tech. data sheet do: ACTIVATING THE SERVICE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES

Then do FAULT CODE DISPLAY MODE on Page 3

Then you can see what fault code/codes you are getting on Page 6 and Page 7: FAULT/ERROR CODES

Let us know what you find.

the instructions say standby mode, plugged in with all indicator lights off, is it alright that the sensing light is on because it won't stay off.

Oh, wait maybe not, I don't think I remember seeing the sensing light just come on and stay on like that everytime you plug it into the wall outlet.

i have tried it twice and nothing happens
Yikes, that means your control board is shot.

Here's the control board for your model:
At $300 its more wise just to buy a new washer, this time get a Maytag washer. They are priced in the $500 ballpark.
