Hi all,

I no longer have an issue thanks to this post here:

FIXED - 110.25132411 Kenmore 500 series Washer - tub banging against sides on spin

My kenmore series 500 top load washer seems to be unbalanced. Clothes or no clothes inside, when the washer is on the spin cycle the drum begins to bang around the sides. Also, the drum is leaning towards to right. I leveled the legs and replaced the suspension rods and am still having an issue...

Just wanted to share that I also got replacement Amazon suspension rods and it made my washer issues even worse. It was so bad it sounded like the washer was getting hit with a baseball bat and even punched the spare gas hookup through the drywall since it was walking around. I returned the Amazon set and tried the genuine part from the website and I don't have any more issues. So if you run into anyone else with this issue after new rods were installed definitely have them try the genuine name brand part.

Yes, you are exactly correct, there are many people that came here and mentioned the same thing happened when they got the suspension rods at ebay and amazon, then I advised them to get the suspension rods at AppliancePartsPros or RepairClinic and that FIXED the machine from banging and walking.
