Washer will over fill no mater what the level switch is set to. Used hose connected to switch and blew into it and could hear switch click and then release when I stoped blowing. Tried blowing into the tube going down to air chamber on tub and could hear air escaping in tub. Even removed hose complete and put under water held one end cosed and blew into it no leaks. Even replaced it with another 1/4" od vynil tube, slightly larger id. Zip tied it at both ends so no air leaks. Still no go, still failed. Wife needed washing done, so I hooked my small air compressor up to the line going to the water fill switch with a vale to turn air pressure on and off, set it to a low output pressure and started washer. When water level got to the point I wanted applied air pressure and the water shut off and the washer went trough its cycle. What is wrong with what? What am I missing in my testing? What other test can I do or what else can I check out to get this washer fixed?

Thanks for any and all suggestions and or help,
Bill

If the water level control (aka 'pressure switch') functions but just not with the designed pressure, it may be out of calibration with age and not acting on the appropriate pressure that is needed.

With what you've said, I can't think of anything that could be the problem besides the WLC itself.
