Drain/spin/rinse seems to stop working at the 2 minute mark on Normal Wash. (F02 and Suds Error) Have done the following:
-Cleaned out the drain trap 3x (in 4 weeks) - NOTHING FOUND
-Cleaned All hoses - No blockage, except 2 weeks ago I found a bra underwire at the top of the Tub to Trap Hose
-tub to pump hose
-pump to back of machine hose
-back of machine hose to sink hose
-Pressure switch hose and pressure tube connect at bottom
- Did not clean the Flow meter hoses.

The only things I have not done yet is to check the continuity of the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch and the CCU. What is the procedure in testing these items? I do not know what more I can test. Any help would be most welcomed.

Hi,

Does it still drain before you get that error code? If so, how fast does it drain? Pull your drain hose up from your home drain pipe and watch how fast the water comes out of the drain hose, it should be a very strong flow out.

Also, 2 other members fixed their's by blowing through the pressure switch hose, start reading at post#5 here: FIXED HE3, F2 error code, drains, won't spin, replaced motor

It partially drains. Strong flow out. I have tried blowing through the pressure hose and no blockage. When choosing Express wash everything seems fine. When the Normal wash cycle stops and flashes F02. I am able to cancel and push Drain/Spin and it works most of the time. Continuity?

Ok,

Here's how to ohm test your water level pressure switch:

Now if the drain pump is working fine and a good strong steam of water is coming out, then it should be fine. I can't recall what ohms the drain pump should read, but 12 ohms seems to come to mind, I need to verify that with Rick.

Here's the drain pump for this model:

Jake, I did as you suggested. Here are the results:
PINS 1-2 OPEN LOOP
PINS 2-3 BEEP
PINS 4-5 OPEN LOOP
PINS 6-6 BEEP

DRAIN PUMP: the numbers jump around 16-20. Settles on 16

What does all this mean? Thank you in advance for your time an effort.

Did you blow into the pressure switch nipple when you took those measurements?

If so, all those readings should be 0 ohms(BEEP).

Jake, Yes I did blow into the pressure switch nipple when I took the measurements. As per my results above, does this mean a new pressure switch? Are these results congruent with my problems? (F02-SUDS) When running the diagnostics everything seems to pass
though.

I believe the problem is going to be the drain pump (15Ω). The Whirlpool tech sheet states, for the F02 & SUDS error codes, if all the connections are made and tight and the drain hose and pump are not blocked, replace the drain pump.

I think this is the correct pinouts for the pressure switch:

Thanks Rick!

sdunn: I'd order both the drain pump and the pressure switch, just to be on the safe side.:) You can always return the one you don't need for a full refund, less shipping.:)
