Hello

It seems like I have a similar issue, the same sound but I have not noticed dimming lights yet.

Kenmore 90 series 110.4788291

I took a couple of quick videos yesterday as I started to try to figure this out

The noise and lack of spin speed

With the motor out, so far the only item that may be off is this "Clutch" type piece within the electric motor spins.
Is the movement within this video normal?
The first video does not really show it, but this part we bouncing to the beat of my noise in the first video
(sorry about the background dryer noise)

Now that I found this forum
I am going to check the motor and switch as per Rick above (thank you)

Still, I am curious if anyone knows anything about the part in the second video.

Thank you
Scott

Thanks, the videos are viewable now.

Please recheck your model number, 110.4788291 is not pulling up as good.

The model number tag is underneath the lid.

Update

I followed the switch and motor test as per RIck above

#1 Pass R and BK open and closes with switch
#2 Pass BU with OR open and closes with switch
#3 Pass White to Blue I get 1.8
#4 Fail? White to Black it is open

#5 and #6 My colors are different
But
White to W/bl = .5
White to Yellow is open

Is this enough to establish that the Motor is toast?

Should I be looking at anything else?

Thank you in advance

Yes Scott, your motor is shot.

The manufacturer has replaced part number 3352287 with part number WP3352287.

Here's the motor for your model:
Drive Motor WP3352287
