I need to replace the dryer door switch on my Kenmore dryer model 110.66944500. Videos I've seen show two different ways of getting access to the switch. One is to pull off the end caps on the control panel and the other is to pry up the control panel with a putty knife. Which way does this model require? I've tried both but before I break something I wanted to make sure I'm on the correct path. Thanks for the help

Remove the two end cap screws (one in each end cap on the back)

Use a putty knife or small screwdriver under each front corner to release the clips then fold the console back against the wall out of the way.

Remove the three 1/4" screws securing the back panel to the top panel then slide the top forward and off.
