I have a kenmore 700 series dryer model 110.78102310, I've replaced all thermofuses, thermostats, flame sensor, and the 2 gas solenoids and all vents are clean without obstructions or lint. My problem is, when I turn the dryer on the ignitor lights up and a flame lights, it runs for about 30 seconds and the flame goes out. I've sat and watched and it doesn't seem to light or ignite anymore after that. I know gas is flowing because I can smell a hint of it houseide my house vent. Just wonder what my next step to take is. Any suggestions would help.

Hi,

My problem is, when I turn the dryer on the ignitor lights up and a flame lights, it runs for about 30 seconds and the flame goes out.

None of the dryer is apart, right? With panel(s) off the air flow is disrupted and that exact thing can happen.

I've sat and watched and it doesn't seem to light or ignite anymore after that.

Ever? How long did you wait?

all vents are clean without obstructions or lint.

Inside the dryer as well? This pos design had many issues with the fan blower getting clogged up.

I know gas is flowing because I can smell a hint of it houseide my house vent

That can't be good! Maybe the gas valve is bad??

The panels are all back on, it like initially with the start of the dryer, and I've seen it light maybe 1 or 2 more times randomly after it but other times ive watched for 10-20 minutes and it doesnt light at all for the rest of the load. The clothes are coming out not warm and not dry. I've had the whole thing apart looking for clogs of lint, I don't think there's any left anywhere.

All panels are back on. The gas smell outside is concerning. The only part I haven't replaced is the gas valve...is this a symptom of a bad gas valve? Because I look inside and there's no flame, when I'm outside there's cool air with the smell of gas blowing outside, almost as if the valve is getting stuck.

Ok, good!

The gas smell outside is concerning. The only part I haven't replaced is the gas valve...is this a symptom of a bad gas valve?

Noises from the gas valve, odd gas smell like it is not 100% opening or not 100% closing, igniter coming on but no flame.

10-20 minutes and it doesnt light at all for the rest of the load.

What happens instead?
Igniter only comes on?
That gas smell?
Vibration/chattering noise?
Etc.
