Kenmore Washer - 110.92587210 - Original problem was water leak. Determined to be main shaft gasket. During trouble shooting, I also replaced the direct drive pump assembly. After this, the motor stopped running, just hums loudly when powered up. Removed the pump from the motor shaft (it spins freely) and gave the shaft a spin when powered up and motor started.
Replaced the start capacitor, now motor will not start, even with a spin, just hums in all timer locations that require the motor to be running. It will fill, but not spin or drain.

It appears now to have been a critical alignment of the motor switch activator lever. Motor starts and drum turns.
Now, if I can just get the inner drum out! That sucker is really stuck.
